- For over 100 years, Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Homes have been a family owned and operated full service funeral home. We NEVER answer to an out-of-state owner or a corporate leader who knows nothing about our industry nor has been trained as a funeral director. When you call our funeral home, you get to speak to our owners and our licensed funeral directors that understand your family's needs and will work with your budget to give your loved one a one of a kind service personalized to your expectations. We continually strive to be one of the least expensive funeral homes within our vicinity.
In addition to Raleigh County, Rose and Quesenberry has proudly served familes in Boone, Wyoming, Fayette, Nicholas, Mercer, Kanawha, McDowell, and Greenbrier Counties.
We also base much of our advertising budget on educating the public concerning funeral costs and unethical business practices within our industry. We are the only local funeral home to publish our prices in local newspaper advertisements. Where many funeral homes are reluctant to advertise the costs of their funerals, we do so proudly and without apology.
Rose and Quesenberry is the ONLY funeral home in Southern West Virginia that offers an after-care program to our families. This program is FREE of charge and we help assist with filing of insurance, assistance with estate work, UMWA, black lung, railroaders, veterans, and PEIA.
We are also a member of the International Order of the Golden Rule, an elite organization of independent funeral home operators with demanding standards and the highest ethical requirements. Membership to this outstanding order is by invitation only and we have been a proud member for over 50 years.
Five of the last six years, Rose & Quesenberry has been voted the Readers Choice Award for Favorite Funeral Home by the readers of the Beckley Register-Herald Newspaper. We are especially honored by this award.
