owned and operated funeral service and cremation facility. What this means to you, the consumer, is consistently priced, lower cost funeral and cremation services. We continually strive to be one of the least expensive funeral homes within our vicinity.
We also base much of our advertising budget on educating the public concerning funeral costs and unethical business practices within our industry. We are the only local funeral home to publish our prices in local newspaper advertisements. Where many funeral homes are reluctant to advertise the costs of their funerals, we do so proudly and without apology.
We are also the only funeral home in Southern West Virginia that offers an after-care program to our families. This program is FREE of charge and we help assist with filing of insurance, assistance with estate work, UMWA, black lung, railroaders, veterans, and PEIA.
We are also a member of the International Order of the Golden Rule, an elite organization of independent funeral home operators with demanding standards and the highest ethical requirements. Membership to this outstanding order is by invitation only and we have been a proud member for over 50 years.

To illustrate the affordability of a pre-arranged funeral, we will use as an example the cost of a $6000.00 funeral with no money down on a 5 year payment plan. Based upon 65 years of age, your monthly premium would be $134.38.
Another outstanding benefit to this insurance program would be that after the 24th payment, should death occur, the full amount of the $6000.00 funeral would be paid.
