Ruby Morales, age 83, of Beckley, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 1, 2012.
Born February 25, 1929, in Exeter, Nebraska, to the late Henry Miller and Bertha Drier.
Mrs. Morales was a member of Maxwell Hill Baptist Church. Her greatest joys in life were sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family and especially grandkids.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Aimee Stevens; 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Juanita Kincaid and husband Mike of Beckley and Kathleen Foster of National City, CA; sons, William Adams of National City, CA, Richard Stevens and wife Lorrie of Phoenix, AZ, and Roy Stevens and wife Tina of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren whom she lovingly raised as children, William Martin Adams, Jr., Victoria Prince and husband Mike, and Crystal Sweetser and husband George; 22 more grandchildren, Michelle Hontz and husband Tim, Michael Kincaid and wife Wendy, Rebecca Kincaid, David Adams and wife Lleonica, Coryene Rudolph, Charles Foster and wife Stephanie, Jaime Camacho, Jacob Page, Renee Wheaton and husband Todd, Rick Stevens, Matthew Stevens, Rocky Stevens and wife Shanna, Nathan Stevens, Katrena Pruett and husband Paul, Rachel Stevens, Sabrina Hall and husband Robby, Caleb Stevens, Joshua Stevens, Jacob Stevens and wife Tera, Vanessa Stevens, Valerie Stevens, and Starla Stevens; 38 great-grandchildren and 3 more on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Chapel in Beckley with Rev. Kenneth Killen officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, and laid to rest along with her will be the urn of Aimee Stevens, Ruby’s youngest daughter.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be William Martin Adams Jr., Rocky Stevens, Michael Kincaid, Brandon Hendrick, Mike Prince, and George Sweetser.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
