Shawna Marie (Blevins) Lilly, age 26, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
Born May 16, 1986, in Beckley to Larry and Leisa Blevins of Beckley.
Shawna was previously employed with the Raleigh County Board of Education as a cook. She also enjoyed being a mommy, going to the river, and riding motorcycles.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ernest and Garnet Miller, and James Oliver and Lilly Vance; and an aunt, Drema Miller.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband John Lilly of Beckley; two sons, Shawn Blevins and Sabbath Lilly of Beckley; three sisters, Angel Hodge and husband Aaron of Beckley, Lariat Moody and husband P.J. of Beckley, and Colt Benson and husband Johnny of Beckley; two brothers, Larry and Cohen Blevins of Beckley; grandparents Joyce and Freddie Wriston of Beckley and Juanita Gillian of Beckley; nieces and nephews, Colby Keen, Cameron, Riley, Jagger, and Piper Hodge of Beckley, Star Moody and Chaos Benson, and James Aaron Griffith; many cousins, Trica and Aden Nish, Tonya Dillon, Tammy and Ronnie Reese of Elliston, VA, with their daughters Kassie, Nikkie, and Jessie Reese, and their grandchildren Landen, Nevaeh, and Brailynn; in-laws, Linda and Cyrus Lilly; sisters-in-law, Melissa Griffith and Jody Lilly; and special friends Noah Wayne Shrewsbury and wife Crystal and their daughter Jasmine, and Lori Young and husband Christopher; and a host of many more friends.
A celebration of Shawna’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Chapel in Beckley with Rev. Fred Lovell and Rev. Kenneth Killian officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
