Alan Dean Hatcher

Alan Dean Hatcher, age 70, of Mt. View, WV passed away at his home on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Born on January 22, 1956 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Roy E. Hatcher and Nellie Asbury Hatcher.

Mr. Hatcher was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, and was a US Army Veteran, stationed in South Korea.

He was employed by Sleep Inn at Beaver, WV as a front desk clerk. Mr. Hatcher enjoyed computers, and loved fishing in his spare time.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his brother, James  E. Hatcher and wife Cynthia of Mount Hope; two nieces, Lorie Hatcher, and her children Kalyn and Kade, of Beckley; and Mindy Hatcher of Morgantown; a nephew Brian Hatcher and wife Fayth of Piney View.

According to Mr. Hatcher's personal wishes, no services will be held.
