Alma Lojean Barker

Alma Lojean Barker, age 80, of Jumping Branch, WV passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Summers County ARH.

Born on May 3, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John Bolen and Nancy Cole Bolen.

Mrs. Barker was a homemaker, and enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Rev. Larry Bolen, and "Cletie" Ritter.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Harold Barker; a daughter Traci Houchins and boyfriend David Smith of Camp Creek; A brother Clayton Bolen and wife Josephine of Cool Ridge; two grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Houchins.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 1 PM with Rev. Orville Setliff officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
