Amber Burgess

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amber Louise Burgess on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Amber was 41 years of age.

Born on August 26, 1983, in Beckley,  she was the daughter of the late Benny and Theresa Stump Webb.

Amber and her high school sweetheart had been married for 21 years. Together they had three amazing boys, Hunter (Kaylea), Connor (Courtney) and Luke.

Amber thrived at being a wife and mother.  She also loved doing arts and crafts, fishing, and also loved decorating for Christmas. But most of all, she was excited to a grandma; her first grandchild is due June 2, 2025.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Jerry Burgess, by grandparents, Benny Lee and Norma Jean Webb, and Buford and Lola Stump.

Other than her husband and children, those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother-in-law Connie Burgess; a sister Stacy Webb; special aunt Dottie Scarbro; special friends Melissa Bragg, Ruth McMillion, and Crystal Foley.

A memorial service will be held to Celebrate the Life of Amber Burgess on Sunday March 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel with Rev. William Plumley officiating. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the services on Sunday at the funeral home.
