Andrew Jackson Weaver, Jr.

Andrew Jackson Weaver Jr., age 52, of Raleigh, WV passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born on July 19, 1971 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson Weaver Sr. and Rose Ella Lilly Weaver.

"Roo Roo" as he was known by his family, enjoyed fishing and taking care of his chickens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Carol Jean Weaver and Karen Trail, by brothers Rodney Weaver, Carl Trail, and Billy William Trail.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Rose McMillion and husband Kevin of Raleigh, Deborah Gillespie of Beckley, Donna Ellis of Kentucky; two half sisters Sandra of Beckley, and Elizabeth McDaniel and husband Fred of Beckley; a half brother Mike Weaver and wife Tina of Beckley; a special great niece Piper Rose-Lynn Riley; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 6 PM with Pastor Keith Manning officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 PM until 6 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Cremation will follow the service.
