Anita Ruth Gowman

Anita Ruth Gowman, age 62, of Princewick, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Born on November 15, 1961 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Sammie Junior Bolen and Elizabeth Ellen Farley Bolen.

Mrs. Gowman was a homemaker, and had attended Cales Chapel in Coal City. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and taking care of her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was  preceded in death by her husband, Harry Wayne Gowman; a brother, Sammie Dean Bolen; a sister, Nancy Ellen Duncan.

Those survivors  left to cherish her memory include two sons, Kenneth Gowman and wife, Tiffany of Jonben, and Christopher Gowman and wife, Stormie of Whitby; a brother, Jackie Bolen and wife, Rosemary of Princewick; a sister, Jo White and husband, David of Coal City; seven grandchildren and another grandchild soon to be born also survive.
