Anna Marie Taylor

Anna Marie Taylor, age 80, of Piney View,  WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2026 following a sudden illness.

Born on August 19, 1945 in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Wendell and Evelyn Goddard Wendell.

Mrs. Taylor had worked as a Breakfast Coordinator for McDonald's at the Beckley Plaza. She was a member of  the Piney View Bible  Church for many years, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her husband of nearly 62  years, Loyd Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Mandy, and a brother David Wendell.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband Loyd Taylor; a son, Michael Loyd Taylor of Piney View; four sisters Kathleen and husband John of Chicago, IL, Brenda and husband Chuck of OH, Patty and husband  Bob of Beckley, and Shelby and husband Mike of Sissonville; a brother William and wife Sharon of Piney View;  grandchildren Christopher Taylor and Mahala Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside rite and burial will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Gullion officiating.

There will be no visitation.
