Aungrisa "Risa" Mann

Aungrisa "Risa" Mann, age 58, of Daniels went to her everlasting, heavenly home on Saturday, May 10, 2025 after a courageous and inspiring battle against cancer. Born in Surin, Thailand, Risa immigrated to West Virginia in 2015 and proudly received her US citizenship in 2020. Risa worked for the Raleigh County Commission on Aging as a caregiver and enjoyed dancing, fitness, dining out, and shopping.

Risa was preceded in death by her first spouse Surasak Kongkaew, loving mother-in-law Beulah Mann, and special friends Bill and Jean Ormandy.

Among many friends and family, Risa is survived by her husband of ten wonderful years, Darrell Mann of Daniels, her son Tuntapat "Mickey" Sinhirunpong , of Bangkok, Thailand, her parents Mr. Tarakon and Mrs. Boonsong Chaokongjak of Surin, Thailand, her siblings Kalyaver "NoI" Janthachuen, Pinyada "A" Chaokongjak and Waritha "Amy" Chaokongjak all of Surin, Thailand, stepchildren Jeff Mann of Teays Valley, Adam and Jill Mann of Hurricane, and Josh and Naomi Mann of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and grandchildren Lainey, Claire, Calista, Rowen, Quincie and Lucas Mann.

Risa was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, daughter, khun yaa (grandmother), sister, caregiver, neighbor and friend to everyone who had the pleasure and blessing of knowing her.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Risa Mann will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Shady Spring Chapel at 7:30 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025 with Pastor Matthew Harvey officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM until service time at the Shady Spring Chapel.
