Barbara Ann  Davis

Barbara Ann Davis age 76 of Maple Fork, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Saturday October 26, 2024.

Born on May 29, 1948 in Sherwood, she was  the daughter of the late James and Chessie Hudson Ellison.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker, and a member of Maple Fork Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark Christmas Movies, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Davis;  by siblings, George, Jerry, Mack, Lee, Junior, Lloyd, Virginia, and Euline.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Sherry Davis of Maple Fork, Jerry Davis of North Carolina, and Angela Thatcher and husband Roger of Maple Fork; a granddaughter,  Mysti Matney of Bradley; four great grandchildren, Megan, Emma, Chessie , and Bubby; a sister, Ruby Riley and husband Dave of Beckley and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Maple Fork Baptist Church in the Robert Barley Youth Center, Maple Fork Rd. Mt. Hope, WV, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roger Pauley officiating. Friends may visit with the family 30 minutes prior to the service.
