Barbara Kay Eskins

Barbara Kay Eskins, born September 8, 1952, was called home to heaven on the morning of December 14, 2025, at the age of 73 after a long illness. Her time on earth was one marked by love, selflessness, compassion and unwavering service to God. Barbara dedicated her life to the service of her family, her church and the lord Jesus Christ. Her love, generosity and kindness knew no limits and were shining examples of the life god calls us to live.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Ruth Worrell and one sister, Donna Loggins

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years Gary Eskins, her three sons and their wives Brian and Gabby Eskins, Scott and Jodie Eskins, and Eric and Tina Eskins. Her eight grandchildren and their wives, Kevin and Mackenzie Eskins, Gerald "Trey" and Chelsea Carr, Jacob Eskins, Olivia Stover, Tony Clackler III, Alyssah Eskins, Aleah Eskins, Aubrey Eskins her two great grandchildren Blake and Blair Carr.

Her five sisters and their husbands, Shelia and Wallace Davenport, Robin and Steve Lilly Lynn Sturgil, Gail Ratliff, Kim Worrell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Also, her church family at the Rhodell Church of God where she assisted her husband Gary Eskins in pastoring this church for 40 years.

In lieu of flowers the family sincerely request that those that knew Barbara make a donation in her name to Hospice of Southern WV, who served as her caregivers and advocates at the end of her life, her family is eternally grateful for their kindness and care.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rhodell  Church of God, Rhodell, WV on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Vicky Buzzminsky officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity,  WV. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
