Barbara Lynn Marshall

Barbara Lynn Marshall, age 71, of Shady Spring, WV passed away at her home on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Born on July 13, 1954 at Mullens, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles Andrew Meadows and Okalee Inez McKinney Meadows.

Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker, and attended Old Grove Chapel at Crab Orchard, WV for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Donald and Terry Meadows.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 38 years, Harold Marshall; two children, David Wayne Toney of Moundsville, WV, and Peggy Shirlene Hensley of Shady Spring; a sister Denise Hubbard of Moundsville; three brothers, Danny Meadows and his wife Fonda of Pluto, Mike Meadows and wife Barbara of Shady Spring, and Larry Wayne Meadows, address unavailable. Three grandchildren, Dakota Arehart, Ashley Toney, and Kinnlie Hensley; five great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside rites and burial will be held at the Skaggs Cemetery at Shady Spring, WV on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Ernest Calfee Jr. officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
