Barbara Elizabeth Meadows

Barbara Elizabeth Meadows, age 76, of Shady Spring, WV, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born on May 27, 1948, in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Fred Hicks and Elizabeth Brookes Hicks.

Barbara was a homemaker, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed playing video games and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister Debbie.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, James Bailey and wife Heather of Shady Spring, Augusta Ward of Beaver, Regina Forren and husband John of Shady Spring, and Leslie Haggarty and wife Sandy of Pennsylvania. A brother, Fred Hicks and wife Diane of Maryland. Seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.

According to Barbara's personal wishes, no services will be held.
