Benjamin "Benny" Garrison Burleson of Beckley, West Virginia born September 30, 1946, went to be with his Heavenly Father and his beloved wife Marti on November 12, 2024. He was 78.
Benny devoted all his time and love to his family, friends, and church family at Living Waters Baptist Church.
Benny is survived by son, Mark Terry (and spouse Jessica) of Nashville TN, daughters, Missy Burleson of Beckley WV, and Mandy Burleson of Beckley WV, stepmother Ruby Burleson of Wilmington NC, brother, Timmy Burleson of Wilmington NC, aunt, Fonda Hedgecock of Huntington WV, grandson, Kaelan McGrew of Muncie IN, granddaughter, Kloie Monroe (and spouse Bryce) of Muncie IN, grandson Jakob of Muncie IN, and so many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Benny was proceeded in death by his wife of 52 years, Marti Burleson, his father, Paul Burleson, his mother, Marie Vandall, his stepfather, Buster Vandall, his brother, Bobby Burleson, and his brother, Eddie Burleson.
A celebration of life with food, friends, and fellowship will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Living Waters Baptist Church, 201 Jennings St, in Beckley, WV from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. Come join us and share stories and memories as we celebrate the life of Benny Burleson. Guest are welcome to bring photos for the memory collage that is being put together by the family.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Help from Heaven fund at Living Waters Baptist Church in Benny's name.
