Bettie J. Rylant

Bettie J. Roark Rylant, born October 8,1945 went to be with the Lord January 19,2024, at the age of 78 after a battle with Glioblastoma.

She was born in Ghent and spent most of her life there. Retired from the US Postal Service.

Bettie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the Ghent Freewill Baptist Church & LOVED the Lord.

Bettie is survived by her loving husband Joe, her loving son Phillip Jones & daughter n law Becka of Ghent, Jeff Rylant & daughter n law Tonya of Colorado, daughter Julie Bell & son n law Aaron of Indiana. 3 Granddaughters Brittany McPeake, Alicia Linzy, Kristen Thompson and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Per her wishes there will be no services, Bettie wished to Donate her body to WVU science to help others.
