Betty Frances Berry

Betty Frances Berry, age 90, of Daniels, WV passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on August 16, 1934 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Henry Madison Wood and Amy Bragg Wood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis B. Berry, a sister Helen Bero, a brother Harold M. Wood, and a son-in-law Henry D. Hughart.

Mrs. Berry was retired from G.C. Murphy Company with 25 years of service.  She was also previously employed by Fred's Restaurant in Beckley.  Mrs. Berry loved flowers, reading her Bible, and going to church.  She also loved cooking and canning and was of the Baptist faith.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include daughters, Ginger Wright and husband Sam of Daniels, and Sarah Hughart of Daniels, with whom she had made her home.

Mrs. Berry is also survived by granddaughter, Stephanie O'Brien (Shane) of Daniels; great granddaughter Sierra Richmond and fiancé William Webb of Beckley; one great grandson Ethan O'Brien, and one great-great grandson Linkyn   Webb; a loving sister Shirley Lewis of Beaver. She also leaves behind her fury companion, Toby.

A visitation will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with graveside rites and burial to be held at the Meadows Cemetery near Hinton, WV at noon on Wednesday.
