Betty Wallace

Betty Levon McCully Wallace, age 91, of Daniels, WV passed from this life to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Betty was born on December 20, 1932 in Brush Valley, Pennsylvania to Mary Elizabeth Kelly and Ralph Ellis McCully.

On September 19, 1953 Betty married the love of her life, Wendell Blair Wallace. Blair became a minister and Betty served with her husband as missionaries at Northwest Indian Bible School in Alberton, Montana, and as ministers at churches in Beckley, WV, Petersburg, VA, Greenville, PA, Bluefield, WV, Princeton, WV,  and Mount Hope, WV.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Blair; brother Philip; sisters Gladys, Geraldine, Dorothy, and Mary and her son-in-law Ronnie Bolen.

Betty is survived by her daughter (Betty) Dianne Wallace Bolen; grandsons Jonathan (Kim) and Eric (Wendy); three  great grandsons, Zachary (Madison), Alexander and Levi; sister Maxine Smith of Indiana, PA.

Betty loved her family and enjoyed seeing them as often as possible.

Due to limited mobility, Betty spent the last few years at Raleigh Center in Daniels, WV. The family thanks the staff for the loving care she received  while a resident there.

There will be no services at this time due to circumstances beyond the family's control. A memorial and remembrance will be held at a later date.
