Billy Joe Bryant Jr.

Billy Joe Bryant Jr., age 48, of Beckley, WV formerly of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on August 11, 1976  in Columbus, Mississippi, he was the of Sandra Breeden Gomez of Beckley, and the late Billy  Joe Bryant Sr., and the step son of Tony Gomez of Beckley.

Billy, as he was known by his family and friends was a disabled construction worker. He enjoyed talking and spending time with his friends  and family.

In addition to his father,  Billy was preceded in death by his wife Julie Bryant; a brother Duane Bryant in 2023, and a nephew Michael Bryant.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his mother Sandra Breeden Gomez and step father Tony Gomez; a brother Samuel Bryant and wife Gail of Hanover, WV; nieces Sabrina, Brittany and Melody; nephews Marc and Duane Jr.

A service to Celebrate the Life of Billy Joe Bryant Jr. will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 3 PM. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
