Blake Mathew Woods

Blake Mathew Woods, age 12, of Coal City, WV departed this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his residence.

He was born April 26, 2011 in Charleston, WV, and was the son of the Christina Marie Clark of Coal City, and the late Billy Jake Woods.

In addition to his father Billy Jake Woods,  he was preceded in death by great aunts, uncle, and cousins.

Blake loved life and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Christina Marie Clark at home; two sisters Ciara Elizabeth Marie Woods at home, and Charity Marie Cochran of Beckley;  three brothers, Timothy James Ames, Billy Jake Woods  II,  and Chase Allen Woods, all at home; grandmother Sally Ann Woods of Besoco; grandmother Elizabeth Wyatt and grandfather Randy Simpson of Coal City; grandfather James Lilly and grandmother, Christy of Flat Top; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation for friends and family to Celebrate the Life of Blake Mathew Woods will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry  Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4 PM until 6 PM. A burial will be held at a later date with his father at the Mead Cemetery, Mead,  WV.
