Brian Hart

Brian Keith Hart age 52 " the man, the myth, the legend" of Coal City, WV passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2024 at 5:43 PM at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Brian was born to Cecil Wayne and Rebecca Hart in Beckley, WV. Following a victorious battle with cancer, cancer did not win, the complications that followed  took his worn out soul to Heaven.

Brian leaves as his  legacy two daughters, Kelsey Brianne Hart of Roanoke, VA, and Kasey Nichole Hart of Coal City; two grand babies Skylyn and Kylen Hoskins were the lights of his life.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 34 years, Anna Hart of Coal City; siblings Lisa Remines (John) of Rural Retreat, VA, Christopher (Colleen) Hart of Ferrum, VA, and his  courageous Stem Cell donor Tammy (Jeremy) Berry of Backus Mountain, WV.

Brian also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, cousins,  co-workers and special friends.  There is not enough paper and  ink to list everyone he considered special in his life.

He was employed by United Central Industrial Supply since 2005. When  he was not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.  His yearly  fishing trip in the spring with the guys  was his time of year.

A special thank you  to the nursing staff at Ruby Memorial 9 West, and the oncology department.

He was an avid West Virginia University sports  fan, and as a tribute to Brian, if possible  please wear blue and gold colors  during his service.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Sunday January 5, 2025 at 1 PM with Pastor Ernie Watkins and Pastor Fred Hart Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.

Friends  may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will  be Christopher Hart, Chris Paul Hart, Jeremy Lambert, Phillip Hart, Tristin Lambert, Brandon Mollett and Nick Hart.
