Carol Jean Grant

Carol Jean Grant, age 80, of Stanaford, WV passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born on January 6,1944 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Martin and Clarice Hunt Martin.

Mrs. Grant had worked as a secretary at State Electric for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Grant, and a great granddaughter Clara Metz.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Lisa Suggs and husband James of Piney View, and Leonard Hanks and wife  Autumn of Piney View; three grandchildren, Kati Metz and husband Mike of Stanaford, Ryan Suggs of Piney View, Gracemarie Hanks of Piney View; three great grandchildren, Olivia Metz, Hemi  Metz and Hunter Metz; several step children and step grandchildren; a sister Polly Maiolo of Piney View;  two nephews and several cousins also survive.
