Catherine Danielle Odham

Catherine Danielle Odham, age 31, of Sophia, West Virginia passed away suddenly on December 3, 2025, on her mother's birthday.

Catherine was born in Beckley, June 26, 1994 to Donna Chakir and Douglas Odham.

She was preceded in death by her 11 day old daughter, Jazzlyn Copney, grandparents James and Catherine Odham, who she dearly loved; her step father, Bruce Lucas, and other family members.

Survivors include her fiancé, Jahiem Burger; daughters Za'rihara Odham (13), Zaniyah Copney (11), and her one and a half month old daughter, Jaziyah Burger, all of Sophia; her father Douglas Odham of Beckley; mother Donna Chakir; step father Zouhair Chakir, both of Beckley; sister Deana Odham of Surveyor; Many host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends too numerous to name; her best friend, Kendra Boling and goddaughter Arianna Boling.

"Baby Catt" had a heart of gold. She loved Jahiem and was looking forward to getting married in May 2026. She loved her children and her friend's children and animals.

"Baby Catt" loved purple, leopard prints, butterflies, elephants, sunflowers, and tarts that smelled so good.

She loved her mother, stepfather, sister and cousin Savannah Chatfield so much. They were practically inseparable. She loved a lot of people, including the Bishop Clan, and the Morton's of Midway, who were lifelong friends of the Odham family.

Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Beckley Church of God with Bishop Harold Newsome and Rev. John Rinehart officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Saint Sebastian Cemetery in Beckley, where she will be laid to rest next to her daughter Jazzlyn.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.
