Cathern Yvette Wilburn

Cathern Yvette Wilburn, age 81, of Crow, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Beckley Healthcare Center in Beckley, WV.

Born on December 20, 1944 at Duo, WV, she was the daughter of the late McKinley Hart and Lillian Walls Hart.

Mrs. Wilburn was retired from the Southern WV Clinic, serving as a receptionist. She was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church, and enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilburn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Gene Wilburn on June 18, 2025; by brothers, Delmer Hart, Elmer Hart, Leroy Hart, and Clarence Hart; a niece Velvet Brewer.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include a special nephew, Steve Wilburn and wife  Barbie and their family of Crow; step children,  Mike Wilburn of Virginia, and Michelle Wilburn of Florida; a sister Yvonne Tucker of Florida, and her children,  Valeria Brewer, Tracy Webb, and Larry Brewer Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Michael King officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
