Charles “Chuck” Everett Meadows

Charles Everett "Chuck" Meadows, 65, of Cool Ridge, WV left this world for his heavenly home on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

He was born on July 16, 1959 in Beckley, WV, and called Cool Ridge his home for the last  40 plus years.

Chuck was  a man who felt most at home under open skies. In addition to his family, he had a  deep love  for the outdoors… whether sitting quietly in a deer blind at sunrise, casting a line into his  favorite fishing spot, or tending to his garden with care and pride.  His appreciation for nature was a guiding part of his  life and brought him peace.

A devoted family man, Chuck was known  for his kind  heart, quiet strength, and  the wisdom he generously shared with those around him. He found joy in simple pleasures, and his steady presence will be deeply missed by all that knew  him.

Chuck was the beloved husband and best friend of Ella "Dolly" Meadows  of 42 years; devoted dad of David Meadows, Charles "Chuck" Meadows (wife Gayle), and the late Samuel "Sam" Meadows.

He was the dear son of Barbara Stone, the late Charles Meadows, and step son of Seth "Stoney" Stone.

Chuck was the loving Papaw to Scarlett and Sydney Meadows.

He is also  survived by sisters, Olivia "Libby" Whittaker and Debbie Halstead (Earl).

Chuck also leaves behind many friends, most of all his closest, Billy Lilly (Debbie), Doug Arthur (Jennifer), Teddy Farley (Annette), and Steve Lilly (Robin). These men were instrumental in his life and were always there when he needed  them most.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles, son Sam, infant son Charles, and  brother-in-law Carl Whittaker.
