Charles "Charlie" F. Delmoro

Charles F. (Charlie) DelMoro, 70, went peacefully home to meet his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Charlie was born on June 23,1954 in Beckley, WV. He was the son of the late Rosalie Smith DelMoro & Pete DelMoro.

Charlie lived in Florida for 20 years as an adult, working in the aluminum business before moving "back home" to WV as owner-operator of Mountain State Travel & Trailer Park and Adventure RV Sales. Charlie was also a union sheet worker.

He was an eternal optimist, which benefited both him & others throughout his long cancer battle. His grace, faith, and courage was an inspiration. He could (& did!) talk to anyone, & loved to make people laugh. He was a member of Daniels Missionary Baptist Church.

Charlie was very proud of his loving family who survive him, consisting of his wife of 48 years Christine & three children: daughter Lyla Farmer & husband Billy, son Greg DelMoro & wife Shirley, and daughter Julie McGuffin & husband Brian. He was a loving and fun Pappy to his 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who brought him such happiness: Kaleb Farmer & wife Krista (daughter Emmarie), Trace Farmer & wife Caelynn (sons Wyatt and Ansen), Jacob Farmer & wife Eden (daughters Charleigh and soon arriving baby girl), Lacy Farmer; Maddie, Lincoln & Cayde McGuffin; Audra & Colin DelMoro. Several nieces and nephews and long time friend Stacy Cole, Sr. also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Rita Bahr & her husband Joe, who were such a great influence; Angie Lilly, Pam Walden, Jennifer Bresina, and brother Ira "Buddy" Cloud.
