Charles Lee Lawrence

Charles Lee Lawrence, age 60, of Shady Spring, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born on August 22, 1965 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Albert Lyle Lawrence and Elizabeth Ann Traybor Lawrence.

Lee, as he was known by family and friends, was a Parts Inventory Specialist for Boyd CAT at Crab Orchard, WV.

He enjoyed traveling, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Star Wars fan. Lee was a US Air Force Veteran.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Renee Lawrence; his children, Stephanie Hull and husband Michael of Henderson, WV, Kristen Turschmann and husband Richard of Caldwell, WV, and Nicholas Lawrence of Shady Spring; three grandchildren, Ethan Hull, Isabell Turschmann, and Makenzie Turschmann; three brothers,  Lyle "Junior" Lawrence of Beckley, Steven Michael Lawrence and wife Juanita of Virginia, and John Lawrence and wife Amber of Maryland; a sister Tina McClain of Beckley. Six nieces also survive.

According to Lee's personal wishes, no services will be held.
