Charles "Dewitt" V. Mcgraw

Charles V.  "Dewitt" McGraw Jr., age 93, of Princewick, WV passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at his home.

Born on November 2, 1931, in Winding Gulf, he was the son of the late Charles V. McGraw Sr. and Hattie Mae McGraw.

Mr. McGraw was a retired coal miner, and a member of the UMWA. He was a member of Sunset Hills Missionary Baptist Church at Coal City, WV.

Mr. McGraw enjoyed fishing and deer hunting when health allowed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beulah Mae McGraw, and by several brothers and sisters.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his son, Charles V. McGraw III and wife Nancy J. McGraw of Hinton. A brother Rocky McGraw of Alabama; three sisters Sheila Jones of Maryland, Nelda McGraw of Michigan, and Mitzi Bowyer of Pax. Three grandchildren, Amy Thompson, Kerry Ann Robertson and Colin Scott McGraw; great grandchildren, Hannah, Justin, and Jake; one great-great grandchild, Zedekiah.

A private family visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
