Charles Wayne Webb

Charles Wayne Webb, age 89, of Beaver, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Born on April 3, 1937 at Hinton, WV, he was the son of the late Lonnie Pierce Webb and Effie Jane Clay Webb.

Mr. Webb was a retired machinist, and enjoyed watching wrestling, and collecting model cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Clara Ellen Wood Webb; by siblings, Icie June Webb, Effie Madeline Thomas, Alonzo Paul Webb, and Kenneth Darrell Webb.

Mr. Webb was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his children, Kimberly Widmaier of Beaver, with whom they shared their home, and Tommy Wayne Webb of Paris, Tennessee; grandchildren, Robert Anthony Widmaier, and Brandon and Anthony Webb. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Spring, WV on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Orville Setliff officiating. Burial will be follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
