Charlotte Faye Thomas

Charlotte Faye Thomas, age 72, of Glen Morgan, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Born on August 15, 1953 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Danberry and Nellie Jordan Danberry.

Mrs. Thomas was a former employee of Richmond Cleaners and Laundry in Beckley, and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church at Sweeneysburg.

Mrs. Thomas enjoyed reading, camping, attending church, and family gatherings.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Johnny Danberry, and by an infant brother Melvin Danberry.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 25 years, Dallas "Duke" Thomas; her children, Donnie Lee Adkins and wife Marlena of Wheeling, Jon Thomas of Glen Morgan, and Jeremy Thomas of Dry Creek; four grandchildren, Henry Thomas, Hailey McGuire, Riley Adkins, and Maxim Hughes.

A sister, Dorothy Payne of Kearneysville. Several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Donna Wilt of Kearneysville.

Funeral services will be conducted at the New Prospect Baptist Church at Sweeneysburg, WV on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Gary Williams officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM until 8 PM on Monday at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, and also one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the church.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
