Chester Roger Reeves

Chester Roger Reeves, age 84 of Beckley, WV passed away at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV on Saturday February 1, 2025.

Born on May 12, 1940, at Royal, WV, he was the son of the late William Golden  Reeves and Jessie Patton Reeves.

Mr. Reeves was a retired employee  of, Beckley Cut Flower, in Beckley, WV. and enjoyed watching western movies and game shows. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his adoring family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Louise Reeves, and a daughter, Chessie Reeves.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family of eleven children.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Elene Flannery of  Beckley; two grandchildren, Tia Gillespie of Mount Hope, and Steven Flannery and wife Krystal of Beckley; three great grandchildren, Zoe Gillespie, Zayne Harmon, and Leia Flannery. Many nieces and nephews  also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2 PM with Rev. Keith Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, at Prosperity, WV. Friends  may visit  with the family one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
