Christopher Lee Greathouse

Christopher Lee Greathouse, age 45, of Glen Daniel, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Born July 25, 1979, he was the son of Carol Blevins Greathouse of Shady Spring, and the late John "Tony" Greathouse.

Chris loved his wife and children. His laugh was contagious and he enjoyed making others laugh. He also found joy in fixing anything that was broken and building things from Susan's "DIY" list. Over the years he learned many skills and was truly a jack-of-all-trades. He loved going on adventures with his children, in which he would  kayak or cosplay with Lily and play video games with Andrew. There is nothing that he would not try. His greatest accomplishment was his family and he loved them with his whole heart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years, Susan Honaker Greathouse, and his 2 children, Lily Beth and Andrew Lee of Glen Daniel.

He is also survived by his mother, Carol of Shady Spring; his brother, Shawn (Tiffany) of Oceana; his sister, Jennifer (Tony) of Shady Spring; his in-laws, Larry and Leona Honaker of Glen Daniel; his brothers-in-law, Dale (Spring) Honaker of Glen Daniel, and Roger (Jennifer) Honaker of Spotsylvania, VA, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV, on Monday, January 6, 2025 at noon with Pastor Dean Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
