Clyde A. Lynch passed away peacefully at his home the morning of July 26, 2024, at the age of eighty-two, in the community of Glen Morgan, WV after suffering a lengthy illness.

Clyde was born on July 16, 1942, to John Eldridge Lynch and Sudie Marie Ransom Lynch in Raleigh, West Virginia. After graduating from Shady Spring High School, he joined the United States Marine Corp.

Clyde's life was defined by his belief and faith in Jesus Christ our savior, and he is now in the presence of our Lord.

He was a passionate musician and his love for music was evident to all who knew him. Blessed with a musical talent that was a true gift from God, Clyde brought joy to many and created lasting memories.

Clyde was a Veteran and served his county honorably in the United State Marine Corp. After serving, he worked as heavy equipment operator until becoming disabled.

Clyde leaves behind his devoted loving wife, Nancy for over 33 years, until they meet again. He is survived by his children, Mark Rich, Steve, Mark Edward, Telena, Lydia, and Chris, his step-daughters Tamaria, Rebecca, and Katrina, his grandchildren, Melissa, Laura, Sarah, Jared, Alyson, Jordon, Chasity, Jeremy, Jessie, Jacob, Serenity, Kaden, Summer, Christopher, Corey, and Christian, great-grandchildren Adalynn, Elisia, Mia, Kerigan, Kyzer, John Aarron, Charli, Everly, Lily, Aspyn, Asher, and Cash.  And he will be dearly missed by family, numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and the community.

Clyde's surviving siblings brother James Frank, his sisters Mabel, and Jane.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sudie, brothers, Ross, John Humphry and Rob, and sisters Pat, Mary and Linda (Linnie).

While he is no longer in pain or suffering, our hearts are aching, and we mourn his loss. Those who knew him will remember his gentle spirit, his humor, unwavering kindness, and his ability to bring people together.

In honor of his final wishes Clyde's remains will be with Nancy, until they meet again. The memorial service will at their residence 127 Roanoke Street, Glen Morgan, WV on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 1-3pm. Those who wish to share memories or speak at the memorial are warmly invited to do so.
