Colten Blake Garcia, age 20, of Daniels, WV passed away and went to be with the Lord on Friday August 21, 2026. He was born on October 29, 2005 in Beckley, WV.

Colten graduated from Shady Spring High School and had worked driving a coal truck and was soon to be an underground coal miner.

Colten loved hunting, fishing, riding side by sides, and had picked up playing golf with his buddies. He was also an avid fan of sweet tea! He had an infectious smile and was a funny and entertaining young man.

Colten is survived by his parents, Eric and Angela Bishop of Daniels; a brother, Connor Bishop of Daniels; "Nana and PapPap" Debi and Daniel Mink of Beckley, "Poppy and Nana" Steve and Mary Ann Bishop of Daniels; Mark and Mary Beth Garcia of Beckley; cousins, Laney, Lily and Paisley Garcia of Beckley and Sadie Watterworth, Corey Smith and his brother, Caleb Calloway of Beckley; uncles, Jesse and David Garcia and a special girlfriend, Lainey Pack.

A Service To Celebrate The Life Of Colten Blake Garcia will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Spring, WV on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Rod Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Aidyn Price, Logan Roop, Connor Bishop, Tucker McClung, Logan White, Dre Lawson, Mark Garcia, and Noel Sizemore.

Those attending the service, please wear your favorite jeans and tee shirt, along with your cowboy boots or Hey Dudes in honor of Colten.
