Connell Burton Mcclure

Connell Burton McClure, age 66 of Shady Spring, passed away on April 27, 2026, following a long illness.

Born July 30, 1959, in Shady Spring, WV, he was the son of the late Abdul Burton and Kathleen Plumley McClure.

Connell was a graduate of Shady Spring High School and worked in the heating and cooling industry.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a half-sister, Deloris Gosnell; nephews, Heath Richmond and Kenneth Plumley, and a niece, Jennifer McClure.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Dexter McClure, Shirley Britton, Sandra Brockell , Mary Ann Finger and her husband Charles; a half-sister, Sue Ann Gallimore and her husband, Charles; and a special friend, Enoch Williams. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Mr. McClure's wishes were to be cremated with no service.
