Connie Sue Rose, age 71, of Daniels, WV passed away at her home on August 25, 2026, following a long illness.

Born on December 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Rachel Basham Benfield.

Mrs. Rose went back to school at the age of sixty, to become a medical assistant, a career she enjoyed working until her retirement. She had previously been employed John W. Eye Furniture Company and Telespectrum.

Mrs. Rose enjoyed art painting, crafting, decorating, cooking for her family, and any activities involving her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Gregory Rose and Butch Snyder, and a son Richard Brogan.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Christopher Rose and wife Savannah of Shady Spring; two grandchildren, Elija and Bentley; her beloved dog Gunner; a brother Jeffrey Benfield of Cool Ridge; nephews Jeff, Matt, and Shawn Benfield. Many cousins also survive.

A Service To Celebrate The Life of Connie Sue Rose will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Spring, WV on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Damon Hamby officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until service time at the funeral home on Monday.
