Daisy Ann Cochran

Daisy Ann (Harvey) Cochran, age 77, of Beckley, WV, passed away on July 22, 2025, at Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness. Born July 28, 1947, in Beckley, Daisy was the daughter of John W. and Rosie Harvey.

She was the devoted wife of Robert L. "Bob" Cochran of Beckley. Together, they recently celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Daisy is survived by her husband Bob; two sons, Robert Jeffrey Cochran (Kellie) of Thurmond, NC, and Brad Jonathan Cochran (Martha) of Hurricane, WV; and four grandchildren: Robert Zachery Cochran of Philadelphia, PA (Penn Vet School), Taylor Rae Cochran of Morgantown, WV (WVU Law School), Samuel Jonathan Cochran, and Benjamin Jonathan Cochran, both of Hurricane, WV. A sister, Lana Kemper (Lewis "Butch") of Covington, VA.

A 1965 graduate of Shady Spring High School and a 1968 graduate of Beckley College, Daisy was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She found joy in supporting her family's endeavors and never stopped encouraging them to do their best. Though she and Bob lived in and visited many places over the years, their hearts were always in West Virginia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Shady Spring, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Raleigh County Humane Society in Daisy's memory.
