Danita Rae Simmons

Danita Rae Simmons, age 49, of Beaver, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 03, 2024 due to heart complications after a long, hard battle with kidney disease.

Born on August 15, 1975 in Beckley, West Virginia to Louella Bennett and Ray Summers.

Danita held many titles throughout her life, but her favorite one was that of a homemaker and a mother. She was also a CNA. She enjoyed crafting, roller skating, gardening, but most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother.

Danita was preceded in death by her parents, Louella Bennett and Ray Summers, grandfather John Bennett, husband Daniel Simmons, and her cherished pet, Maya.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Jared Green fiancé Chelsey Wood; daughter Brittany Green; son Matthew Green; daughter Makayla Green fiancé Keaira Corriveau; daughter Danielle Simmons; daughter Gabrielle Simmons husband Aiden Clough; daughter Allyssa Simmons; son John Simmons. Grandchildren Jase Scott, Axel Arlo, and Ellie Rae. And her Beloved dog, Brother.

The true list of loved ones and family members who will miss and cherish their memories with Danita is extensive.

Memorial Services and celebration of life will be held at Grandview State Park at Shelter 1 on September 14th, 2024 at 4 PM. Attendees are welcome to bring flowers or a covered dish as the family will be serving dinner.
