Danny Franklin Basham

Danny Franklin Basham, age 80, of Beckley, WV passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Roanoke Pavillion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born on Wednesday, November 17, 1943 in Beckley. He was the son of the late Cecil Basham and Gladys Miller Basham.

Danny was a Vietnam War Veteran who retired as a mine fabrication shop employee for P.I. Products in Beckley. Danny enjoyed bowling, where he was in many leagues over the years .

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Ramona Basham and daughter, Marlena Coleman, as well as his siblings, Jerry Basham, Billy Basham, Larry Basham, Jimmy Basham, Ricky Basham, Doris Hamm and Linda Raines.

Those left to cherish his memory include his dearest companion, Linda Siekierski, her family; his daughter, Michele Phipps Smith (husband Leroy) many nieces and nephews including three he raised, Donald Basham (wife Aleisha) Angela Woody (husband Tommy) and Douglas Basham; his son-in-law, William Coleman; grandchildren, Andrea Oneal (husband Greg), Alicia Coleman (husband Chris), Michael Basham and Xander Stegel; great grandchildren, Danny Coleman, William Hyatt, Emma Cook and Elena Bumgarner; one great grandchild, Aurora Coleman. Many great nieces and nephews, as well as his sisters in law Reva Basham (wife of Jimmy) and Joann Basham (wife of Billy).

Graveside Rites will be 3:00 PM Thursday, November 21 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley. There will be no visitation.
