David Patrick Boblett, age 77, of Stanaford, WV passed away Monday, July 6, 2026.

Born on March 17, 1949 in Beckley, he was the son of the late James Roy Boblett and Vivian Arbutus Holmes Boblett.

Mr. Boblett was retired from Mountaineer Gas Company, where he worked as a warehouse manager. He was of the Church of God faith, and enjoyed raising Beagle dogs, hunting and playing the guitar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Boblett.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife 56 years, Jill Ellen Stanley Boblett; three children, Tina Laxton and husband Brian of Lashmeet, Matt Boblett and wife Jeana of NC, and Heather Boblett of Stanaford; a brother James W Boblett and wife Nella of Beckley; grandchildren, Brianna Hartwell, Brittany Whisman, Coryn Saunders, Noah Boblett, Ella Boblett, and Amber Powers; two great grandchildren, Zylen Hartwell and Eden Hartwell.

According to Mr. Boblett’s personal wishes, no services will be held.
