David Clyde Elam

David Clyde Elam, age 72, of Shady Spring, WV passed away October 9, 2025 at his home.

Born on November 23, 1952 in Stotesbury, he was the son of  the late Ted and Geneva Browning Elam.

Mr. Elam was a self employed owner and operator of an auto detailing business.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Watts Elam; a daughter Heather Dawn Elam.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Chasity Elam of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Mikaela Skye Elam, Daniel Joseph Elam, Rebekah Lynn Elam, and Hezekiah James Elam; six great grandchildren; his companion Jami Lynn Walker of Shady Spring, siblings; James "Freddie" Elam of  Shady Spring, Barbara Persinger of Beckley, Gloria Grogg of Parkersburg, and Shirley Vandall and husband Glenn of Cool Ridge. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

As per Mr. Elam's  personal wishes, there will be no services held.
