Debra “Debbie Sue” Worley

Debra "Debbie Sue" Carr Worley, age 70, of Beaver, WV passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on February 10, 1955 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Carr and Christine Lilly Carr.

Debbie was a hard worker. She was the one who would jump in and get things done. Debbie cleaned houses for many years, and then worked as a retail supervisor for Crossmark Sales and Marketing, who partnered with Sams Club in Beckley, WV. She retired in 2021, and loved spending time with her grandkids. She was always the life of the party, and people loved being around her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Davis, a brother Gregory Carr, by five nephews, three brothers-in-law, and her parents-in-law.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 46 years, James "Jim" Worley; her daughter Christina "Chrissy" Adams, and son-in-law Gary Lee Adams Jr.; her grandkids Xander Adams and Kenzie Adams; 10 brothers and sisters, Geneva Bragg, Margie Meadows, Arthur "Tudor" Carr, Gerald (Linda) Carr, Sterling (Shirley) Carr, Van (Debbie) Carr, Marvin (Jamie) Carr, Pam (Mike) Basham, Annette Meadows and Kathy Carr; and a sister-in-law Zina Carr. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A visitation for family members will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with friends visiting from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A eulogy will immediately follow the visitation. A private burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
