Denice Ann Weeks Beckelhimer, 65, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, due to a short illness.
She was born in Fireco, WV on April 6, 1960, to the late Clifford Maurice and Nora Pearl Bolen Weeks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jerry David and Johnnie Clifford Weeks, and sisters Dreama Louise Lilly and Wanita Carol Weeks.
Denice leaves behind her loving, devoted husband of 50 years – Toby Beckelhimer, her son Michael Beckelhimer and Ashley Leslie, her grandson Gage, granddaughter Alexis, a brother – Joseph Weeks and Tammie, and a sister – Deborah Tucker and Ricky; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her family, Denice was blessed with many friends who loved her and will remember her fondly.
Denice was raised in West Virginia, a place that always remained close to her heart, and attended Fireco Elementary, Stoco Jr. High, and Stoco High School before making her home in North Carolina. She was employed for many years by Hickory Farms and Mays Meats in Taylorsville, North Carolina. She and her husband shared a love of motorcycle riding, camping, and NASCAR.
Denice was extremely caring and supportive. She was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor, bringing laughter and joy to those around her. Her playful, good-natured spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Above all, she deeply loved her family and close friends.
A service celebrating Denice's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the memorial service or view the service remotely by visiting the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Facebook page.
