Denny Lee Evans

Denny Lee Evans, age 72, of  Arrington, Virginia formerly of Maynor, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024  at the Center for Acute Hospice  Care in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Born on October 28, 1951 in Maynor, he was the son of the late Edgar Ray Evans and Brookie Mae Williams Evans.

Denny, as he was known by family and friends, was a general laborer, then was disabled early in life.

His hobbies included gardening, outdoor activities, and taking care of his animals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by fourteen other siblings, and by his daughter Jennifer Jennings of Artie, WV.

Those survivors left to cherish  his memory include two sisters, Jean Webb of Sand Branch, and Sharon Rhodes of Bradley; two sons, Denny Evans Jr. and Daniel Evans, both of Virginia.  Also left to cherish his memory include his caregiver for the past fifteen years, Connie Evans and husband Phillip of Arrington, Virginia.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Bradley Church of God, Bradley, WV on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 3 PM with Rev. Clara Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynor and Williams Cemetery at Maynor, WV.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the church.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
