Diana Sue Puckett

Diana Sue Puckett, age 82, of Hilldale, WV, formerly of Kilsyth, WV passed away May 6, 2026 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born on May 7, 1943 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Oney and Geraldine Rosemond Oney.

Mrs. Puckett was a homemaker, and a former dog groomer. She was of the protestant faith, and enjoyed flower gardening, animals, children and spending time with her family. She had made her home at the Summers Health Care for the past seven years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Danny Puckett; children Pat Puckett and Lisa Brown; a sister Kathy Onley.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her granddaughter, Misty McKinney and husband Chris; great grandchildren Izaac Smith and Trey and Peyton McKinney; a sister Cynthia Hatcher and husband James of Mount Hope; nieces Lorie Hatcher of Beckley and Mindy Hatcher of Morgantown; a nephew Brian Hatcher and wife Fayth of Piney View; great niece Kalyn and great nephew Kade. The family extends special thanks to Summers Health Care Staff and residents, who were like family to Mrs. Puckett.

According to Mrs. Puckett's personal wishes, no services will be held.
