Diana Mira Schlehuber

Diana Mira Schlehuber, age 80, of Beckley, WV, formerly of Rahway, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on August 31, 1945 in Spencer, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Walker and Elsie Allen Walker.

Mrs. Schlehuber spent her childhood in Beckley, WV, and moved to New Jersey as an adult. She moved back to this area in 2007, where she made her home in Beckley,  WV.

Mrs. Schlehuber worked in a factory, where she served as an assembly person for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Schlehuber who passed away on January 23, 1992; by siblings Wilda Walker, Naomi Taylor, and by an infant sister.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jeffrey Schlehuber Sr. of Beckley, with whom  they shared their home, and Roland Schlehuber Jr. and wife Margaret of Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Sisters, Cheryl Gunnoe and husband Curtis, and Sondra Meade, all of Beckley, WV, and  Bobbi St. Clair of Alderson, WV. Two grandchildren, Jeffrey Schlehuber Jr. of Beckley, WV, and Rebecca Schlehuber of Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A visitation will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Hazelwood Cemetery, in Clark, NJ.
