Diane Gayle Godbey

Diane Gayle Godbey, age 57, of Beaver, WV, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at her home.

Born on December 12, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ernest Dotson and Della Desstine Caudill Dotson.

Diane, as she was known by her family and friends, was a former employee of Patty's in Beckley, with over 15 years of service.

She enjoyed sewing in her spare time.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Della Dotson, by one brother, Joseph Dotson and one sister Frances Grass.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Justin Godbey of Beaver, WV; a daughter Stephanie Bonds of Point Pleasant, WV; grandchildren Kameron Bonds and Kaliela Poindexter; a sister, Nancy Dotson of Cleveland, OH.

A memorial service to Celebrate The Life Of Diane Godbey will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Damian Hamby and Minister Joshua Murray officiating. Friends and family may gather together at the funeral home thirty minutes prior to the service on Saturday.
