Donald Keith Jackson

Donald Keith Jackson, age 97, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home in Odd, WV.

Born August 11, 1928 in Ada, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Charles R. Jackson and Beatrice Eastham Jackson.

His family moved to Okay, Oklahoma in 1931. He was a 1946 graduate of Saratoga High School. At the time of his father's death, Donald enlisted in the US Navy where he served at the end of the World War II era. His awards include the World War II Victory Medal. After his honorable discharge from the US Navy in 1949, he remained in the Maryland, Washington DC area. He loved traveling to many states, often buying property  and homes in West Virginia and Maryland along with his retirement home in Clearwater, Florida.

Donald married Juanita Beckelhimer Polk in 1996. Together they rotated residences between Josephine, WV, Maryland and Florida.

He loved his farm in Josephine and lived out the remainder of his life there.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Juanita, stepchildren, Audrey R. Light (Odd, WV), Deborah Polk Neal (Clearwater, FL), Stephen G. Polk (Vero Beach, FL), and Phillip A. Polk (Odd, WV). Nephews Jimmy and Richard Salter of Maryland.

No services will be held.
