Donald Dudley Meadows

Donald Dudley Meadows, age 86, of Webster Springs, WV formerly of Prosperity, WV passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at his home.

Born on January 31, 1938 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Hulbert Meadows and Eva Smith Meadows.

Mr. Meadows was a retired school bus driver for the Raleigh County Board of Education. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Meadows, and by a brother Jim Meadows.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Donita Lilly and husband Randy of Beckley and Leah Meadows of Beckley; a step daughter Melissa Halstead and husband Kevin of Bradley; a step son James Smith and wife Amber of Meadow Bridge;  five grandchildren,  Amy Nolte, Amanda Lilly, Alisha Ross, Nicholas Jameson, and Kassie Brown; seven great grandchildren also survive.

The family extends special thanks to Kanawha Valley Hospice, and to Doug Deal for help with the care of Mr. Meadows.
