Donna "Sunshine" Lynn Bandy

Donna Lynn "Sunshine" Bandy, age 66, of Meadow  Bridge, WV, formerly of Grandview, WV passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on April 14, 1959 in Munchweiler, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Donal Anderson and Garnet Jackie O'Neil Anderson Ford.

Sunshine, as she was known by her family and friends was a former LPN, and later became a full time homemaker. She was a member of the Hinton Church of God, and enjoyed fostering children, arts and  crafts, and flower gardening. She had made her home at Meadow Bridge for the past 12 years.

In addition to her parents, Sunshine was preceded in death by a  brother, Rick Anderson, and by two sisters Pamma Anderson and Tammy Anderson Compton, and by a step father, Fred Ford.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 25 years, Timothy "Tim" Bandy; her children, Michael W. Upton and wife Sarah of Charleston, Anna Henderson of Beckley, Bella Bandy, Daniel Bandy, and Aleah Bandy, all of Meadow Bridge. A brother, Mike Anderson and wife Teresa of Beckley; sisters April Furrow and husband Keith of Mabscott, and Julie Runion of Belews Creek, NC. Grandchildren, Madeline Henderson and Alex Upton, along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, also survive.

A visitation will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with Pastor Mark Bayle and family members speaking at 7:00 PM.
